Fault symptoms

The MIU warns about a low coolant level when the level is correct or does not give a warning when the level is low.

Diagnostic help

The coolant level sensor can be read using the diagnostics tool.
The message "Coolant level low. Refill." can be activated with the diagnostic tool.

Checking the wiring harness

Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in different directions to detect intermittent breaks and short circuits. Check switches, connectors and crimp connections for oxidation, withdrawn pins and pin clamping force.
