Fault symptoms
Direction indicators or hazard flashers not working on one or both sides.










Diagnostic help
Check that fuses 16 and 33 are intact.

The following values can be read with the diagnostic tool:
^ LH direction indicator switch
^ RH direction indicator switch
^ Hazard flasher switch
^ LH direction indicator output
^ RH direction indicator output

The following functions can be activated with the diagnostic tool:
^ LH direction indicator output
^ RH direction indicator output

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits. Note the reaction of the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.
