Diagnostic help
Check that the glove box light is working. If not: Check fuse 9.

Checking the wiring harness
Jiggle the wiring harness at several points and in several directions to detect intermittent open circuits and short circuits. Note the reaction of the multimeter, test lamp or diagnostic tool during the check.
