Tire Inspection
TyresMeasure the tread depth and check the wear pattern. Check/adjust the air pressure (incl. spare wheel).
If the tyre is worn unevenly or abnormally, the wheel angles must be checked and adjusted with four wheel alignment as described in Wheel alignment.
The tyres have what is called wear indicators, which means that a lateral strip without tread pattern will appear when the remaining tread depth reaches 1.6 mm. The tyres must then be changed.
