Retighten Threaded Joints

Retighten Threaded Joints.





1. Tighten the indicated bolts to the prescribed torque.

WARNING: Never overload the bolts in a joint by tightening them harder than to the specified torque.

Front Assembly
MacPherson strut, upper retaining bolts: 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

Rear Suspension





IMPORTANT: Undo and retighten only one screw at a time.

Before retightening, the bolts must first be backed off slightly.
Subframe to body: 90 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) + 60°
Lateral link mounting to body: 90 Nm (70 ft. lbs.) + 30°
