Heater Core Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the heater core access cover screws.
3. Remove the heater core access cover.




4. Remove the heater core (2) from the HVAC module assembly (1).

Installation Procedure




1. Install the heater core (2) to the HVAC module assembly (1).
2. Install the heater core access cover.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

3. Install the heater core access cover screws and tighten to 1.9 Nm (17 in. lbs.).
4. Install the HVAC module assembly. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement (Service and Repair).
