Primary Camshaft Drive Chain and Sprockets ReplacementRemoval Procedure
1. Remove the engine front cover.
2. Remove the right bank secondary timing chain tensioner.
3. Remove the right bank secondary pivot arm timing chain guide.
4. Remove the right bank secondary timing chain guide.
5. Remove the right bank secondary camshaft intermediate drive chain.
6. Remove the primary timing chain tensioner.
7. Remove the primary upper timing chain guide.
8. Remove the primary camshaft intermediate drive chain.
9. Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
Installation Procedure
1. Ensure the crankshaft sprocket is installed with the timing mark (1) visible.
2. Install the crankshaft sprocket.
3. Install the primary camshaft intermediate drive chain.
4. Install the primary upper timing chain guide.
5. Install the primary timing chain tensioner.
6. Install the right bank secondary camshaft intermediate drive chain.
7. Install the right bank secondary timing chain guide.
8. Install the right bank secondary pivot arm timing chain guide.
9. Install the right bank secondary timing chain tensioner.
10. Install the engine front cover.
