Rear Side Door Window Replacement
Removal Procedure
WARNING: Approved safety glasses and gloves should be worn when performing this procedure to reduce the chance of personal injury.
1. Position the window all-way down.
2. Remove the rear side door window outer sealing strip.
3. Release the rear side door water deflector, if necessary.
4. Remove the rear side door window rear channel.
5. Using mask tape, tape off the outer rear side frame to prevent scratches.
6. NOTE: Two-component sash window fixing clip must be accessible through opening.
Move the rear side door window into assembly opening position (1).
7. NOTE: For a clearer understanding, graphic shows the two-part sash window attachment clip removed.
Use a marking tool (1) with a shaft diameter of 4 mm / 0.15 in to release the two-component sash window fixing clips (2).
8. Release two-component sash window fixing clip (2).
9. Remove two-component sash window fixing clip.
10. Remove the rear side door window (1).
Installation Procedure
1. NOTE: Fit two-part sash window retaining clip to window before installing. Sash window recess must be located with bores for sash window attachment clip above assembly aperture.
Install the rear side door window (1) from above into the rear side door.
2. Install the rear side door window (1) into the rear side door window regulator (2).
3. Install the rear side door window rear channel.
4. Install the rear side door water deflector.
5. Install the rear side door window outer sealing strip.
