Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil for installation purposes.




3. Remove bolts from liftgate striker.
4. Remove liftgate striker from vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the striker to the marks made in the removal procedure.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice).

2. Install the liftgate striker bolts.

Tighten the liftgate striker retaining bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).

3. Check liftgate closing efforts and align striker as required. Refer to Lock Striker Adjustment (Adjustments).
4. Close the liftgate.
