67. Intake Manifold and Spacer Assembly Installation

INTAKE MANIFOLD AND SPACER ASSEMBLY (UNIT REPAIR)

INSTALLATION





1. Install new O-ring seals to spacer assembly.
2. Install intake manifold spacer.
3. Apply Permatex Threadlocker Blue (or equivalent) to intake manifold spacer bolts and install bolts in torque sequence.
Torque:
Spacer Plate-to-Cylinder Lead Bolts: 16 N.m (12 ft. lbs.)





4. Install intake manifold assembly into position.

IMPORTANT: Care should be taken when removing intake manifold bolts. Do not over-tighten bolts or thread damage will occur.

5. Install upper intake manifold bolts.
6. Install lower intake manifold bolt.
Torque:
Upper Intake Manifold Bolts: 7.5 N.m (66 inch lbs.)
Torque:
Lower Intake Manifold Bolt: 7.5 N.m (66 inch lbs.)
