At Each Fuel Fill

AT EACH FUEL FILL
It is important for you or a service station attendant to perform these underhood checks at each fuel fill.

ENGINE OIL LEVEL CHECK:
Check the engine oil level and add the proper oil if necessary.


ENGINE COOLANT LEVEL CHECK:
Check the engine coolant level in the coolant surge tank. Add the proper coolant if necessary. Replace the coolant if it is dirty or has a rusty appearance.

FLUID LEVEL CHECK:
The following fluid levels should be checked visually.
^ Windshield Washer Fluid
^ Brake Fluid
^ Coolant
Add the proper fluid as needed.

TIRE INSPECTION:
Check the tires for damage, adequate inflation, and wear. If they need air, inflate as necessary If they show damage or wear, replace or rotate as necessary.

HOOD LATCH OPERATION:
When opening the hood, note the operation of the secondary latch. It should keep the hood from opening all the way when the primary latch is released. Make sure the hood locks securely into place when it is closed. If it does not, service as necessary.
