27. Fluid Pump Disassemble

FLUID PUMP DISASSEMBLE

^ TOOLS REQUIRED
- J 45000 Seal Remover





IMPORTANT: Do not drop fluid pump body or fluid pump cover.

1. Remove fluid pump stator shaft assembly to fluid pump body bolts (231, 232.





2. Remove fluid pump plate (207) from fluid pump body (202).
3. Remove O-ring seal (206) from fluid pump body.





4. Push fluid pump driven gear (204) to one side of body (202). Using a feeler gage, measure clearance.





5. Using a feeler gage, measure between fluid pump drive gear teeth (205) and crescent shaped part of pump body (202).





6. Using a feeler gage, measure between the driven gear teeth (204) and crescent shaped part of pump body (202).





7. Using a steel straight edge and a feeler gage, measure the side clearance of both gears.





8. Remove fluid pump driven gear (205) and fluid pump drive gear (204).





IMPORTANT: Be careful not to damage fluid pump body bushing.

9. Using Seal Remover J45000, remove fluid pump seal.
