Rear Seat Replacement

Removal Procedure






1. Remove the forward cover from the load floor to expose the rear seat fasteners.






. Remove the rear seat forward fasteners.






3. Remove the rear seat fasteners.
4. Remove the rear seat assembly.

Installation Procedure






1. Position the rear seat to the vehicle.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

2. Install the forward fasteners. Tighten the fasteners to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).






3. Install the rear seat fasteners at the back of the seat. Tighten the fasteners to 50 Nm (37 lb ft).






4. Position the load floor forward cover. Push down at the hook and loop locations to secure the load floor to the vehicle.
