This bulletin applies to the paper Service Manual only.

The purpose of this bulletin is to provide technicians with information to correctly check for an open circuit condition on circuit 459. The "A/C Compressor Does Not Operate" (Chart 6) diagnostic flow chart in the 2002-2003 Saturn VUE HVAC Service Manual, Vol. 1 directs technicians to check for an open circuit in circuit 459. The responses for Yes and No are reversed (see chart 4 of 4 on page 57). A correct chart is now available and is shown. The chart will supply the technician with information that will correctly diagnose circuit 459 by correctly answering the Yes and No columns for diagnosing an open circuit.





Please make copies of the Service Manual update and insert the corrected chart into page 57 in all copies of the 2002-2003 Saturn VUE HVAC Service Manual, Vol. 1.
