16. Control Valve Body Assembly Assemble

CONTROL VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY ASSEMBLE





IMPORTANT: Dirty solvent can deposit sediment that could damage transaxle.

1. Using clean solvent, thoroughly clean control valve body assembly, valves, springs, and all other components.
2. Using compressed air, dry all components.
3. Inspect valve body casting for the following conditions:
^ Porosity
^ Cracks
^ Damaged machined surfaces
^ Chips or debris
^ Interconnected passages
^ Damaged sealing surfaces
4. During assembly, inspect control valve body components for the following:
^ Worn or damaged valves
^ Broken, missing or damaged springs
^ Damaged bore plugs, spring seats or retainers





5. Inspect control solenoid valve locator pin in the control valve body assembly for damage. Replace pin if necessary.
6. Install clutch boost valve into control valve body assembly.
7. Install clutch boost valve spring.
8. Install control solenoid valve locator pin.





9. Install spring for the TCC regulator apply valve.
10. Install TCC regulator valve.
11. Install a new bore plug (O-ring) seal on the bore plug for TCC regulator valve.
12. Install bore plug for the TCC regulator valve.
13. Install bore plug retainer for TCC regulator valve.





14. Install spring for the variable ratio control valve.
15. Install variable ratio control valve lever assembly.





16. Install line I pressure regulator valve.
17. Install line I pressure regulator valve spring.
18. Install a new bore plug (O-ring) seal on the bore plug for the line I pressure regulator valve.
19. Install bore plug for line I pressure regulator valve.
20. Install bore plug retainer for line I pressure regulator valve.





21. Install forward and reverse clutch valve.
22. Install spring for the forward and reverse clutch valve.
23. Install a new bore plug (O-ring) seal on the bore plug for the forward and reverse clutch valve.
24. Install the bore plug for the forward and reverse clutch valve.
25. Install bore plug retainer for the forward and reverse clutch valve.





26. Install TCC control valve.
27. Install TCC control valve spring.
28. Install spring seat for the TCC control valve.





29. Install line limit valve.
30. Install line limit valve spring.
31. Install spring seat for the line limit valve.





32. Install actuator feed limit valve.
33. Install spring for the actuator feed limit valve.
34. Install spring seat for the actuator feed limit valve.





35. Install primary limit valve.
36. Install primary limit valve spring.
37. Install spring seat for the primary limit valve.





38. Install line 2 pressure regulator valve.
39. Install line 2 pressure regulator valve spring.
40. Install a new bore plug (O-ring) seal on the bore plug for the line 2 pressure regulator valve.
41. Install bore plug for line 2 pressure regulator valve.
42. Install bore plug retainer for line 2 pressure regulator valve.





43. Install the 3 ball check valves into valve body assembly.





44. Install a new fluid pump pressure screen assembly (203) on spacer plate assembly.
45. Install spacer plate assembly (204).
46. Install control solenoid valve assembly (201) on valve body assembly (207).
47. Install wiring connector hole seal (200) for the control valve body cover.
48. Install manual valve (202) in the control solenoid valve assembly.
