B1001 - Option Configuration Error


CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
The vehicle option content information must be entered as part of the body control module (BCM) programming procedure. If the vehicle option content information is not included and programming procedure is completed, this DTC will fail.

DTC PARAMETERS
^ Programming or replacing the BCM was completed without vehicle option content information.
^ If the SDM was replaced without programming the last four digits of the SDM part number into the BCM.
^ No light will illuminate in I/P.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
^ Refer to Saturn Service Stall System (SSS) users guide for programming BCM. Include the proper options for the vehicle.
^ Check for proper SDM part number on the SDM.
