C0551 - Option Configuration Error - Electronic Power Steering (EPS)

C0551 - OPTION CONFIGURATION ERROR





DTC PARAMETERS
DTC C0551 will be current:
^ DTC C0551 will be current on the EPS control module option configuration bit has not been configured.
When DTC C0551 is current:
^ Service Wrench telltale will be On.
^ Steering assist will be at a default calibration.

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
^ New EPS modules will automatically set DTC C055l when installed.
^ To clear DTC C05511, the new module must be configured with the correct tuning curve.
