Wiring and Connections

1. Before removing a speaker, check all accessible wiring and connectors to that speaker.
2. Check for pinched/broken wires. If wires have been pinched, the insulation could look unbroken. Yet, internal damage could be present. The circuits could test good in a continuity check with the system disconnected. The circuits could then be resistive when the electrical load is present. If possible, the suspect circuits should be checked for voltage drop with the system operational.
