Front Door Primary Seal

REMOVAL




1. Remove front body hinge pillar molding.




2. Remove primary seal from door flange by starting at the seal joint at the bottom of the door opening. Separate the seal at the joint, noting this position.
3. Slowly remove the seal from the door flange.

INSTALLATION




1. Start seal over flange area in position noted in removal procedure.
2. Press seal over flange firmly to seat.
3. Locate an exposed end of ripcord at seal joint and pull ripcord around door opening. If seal lip is tucked under any door trim, this process will bring seal lip over door trim and headliner.
4. Tuck seal lip under end of instrument panel.




5. Install front body hinge pillar molding.
