44. Control Valve Body Assembly
CONTROL VALVE BODY ASSEMBLYASSEMBLE
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole in valve body with holes in plate.
1. Install new plate (324) onto rear valve body.
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole in valve body with holes in plate.
2. Install rear valve body onto middle valve body.
3. Install two 35 mm. rear control valve body bolts (333, 335).
4. Install one 40 nun rear control valve body bolt (333).
5. Hand tighten valve body assembly bolts (333, 335).
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole on valve body with holes in gaskets and plates.
6. Install plate (328) and new gaskets (327, 329) onto rear No. 2 rear control valve body (330).
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole on valve body with holes in gaskets and plates.
7. Install rear No. 2 rear control valve body onto rear valve body.
8. Install one 76 mm control valve body bolt (331, 332) into the No. 2 rear control valve body.
9. Install four 49.5 mm control valve body bolts (332) into the No. 2 rear control valve body.
10. Hand tighten valve body assembly bolts (331, 332).
11. Turn valve body assembly over.
12. Install the 50 mm control valve body bolt (304) and hand tighten.
13. Install fluid stainers and accumulator check valves into middle valve body.
14. Install gasket (320).
15. Install front control valve body spacer plate (321).
16. Install gasket (322) to front control valve body assembly (315).
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole in valve body with holes in gaskets and plate.
17. Install plate and new gaskets on to the front valve body.
IMPORTANT: Align each bolt hole in valve body with holes in gaskets and plate.
18. Install front valve body (315) onto middle valve body (323).
19. Install one 50 mm control valve body bolt (304) into front control valve body and hand tighten.
20. Install four 20 mm control valve body bolts (313) into front control valve body and hand tighten.
21. Install two 16 mm control valve body bolts (314) into front control valve body and hand tighten.
22. Tighten all valve body assembly bolts (304, 313, 314, 325, 331, 332, 333, and 335), evenly and gradually.
Torque: Valve Body Assembly Bolts: 6 N.m (53 inch lbs.)
IMPORTANT: Use NEW O-rings. Do not damage the O-rings.
23. Replace O-ring on each of the shift solenoids.
24. Install shift solenoid and bolts:
(301) M5 X 50 mm
(302) M5 X 0.8 X 28 mm
(307) M5 X 0.8 X 10 mm
25. Tighten shift solenoid bolts.
Torque: Shift Solenoid Bolts: 6 N.m (53 inch lbs.)
26. Install line PC solenoid (SLT) (316) and the shift PC solenoid (SLS) (340).
27. Install control valve body (312) and solenoid valve retainer bolt (311).
Torque: Solenoid Clamp Bolt: 6 N.m (53 inch lbs.)
28. Install TCC lock-up PC solenoid (SLU) (339).
29. Install TCC lock-up control solenoid valve retainer clamp (319), wiring harness clip (318), and one M5 X 0.8 X 10 mm control valve body (307).
Torque: TCC Lock-Up Control Solenoid Bolt: 6 - 7 N.m (52 - 66 inch lbs.)
30. Install manual valve (337).
