Rear Wiper Blade Insert

REMOVAL




1. Remove wiper blade insert by squeezing the metal tabs and pulling on the end of the insert at the heel claw.

INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT:
^ Wiper blade inserts can be installed from either end of the wiper blade.
^ Do not remove retainer clips from new wiper blade insert until installed.




1. Starting with the heel claw, slide wiper blade insert into wiper blade so that the claw engages in the groove of the wiper blade insert.
2. Slide the wiper blade insert through the remaining claws on the wiper blade. Make sure the claws engage in the groove of the wiper blade insert as in previous step. Blade insert retainer clips will slide as insert is engaged in blade.

NOTE: If metal tabs on wiper blade insert are not completely engaged into heel claw, wiper blade insert will not be sufficiently retained and may result in rear window damage.




3. Push wiper blade insert so metal tabs fully engage into heel claw.
