46. Mainshaft Assemble

Mainshaft Assemble





1. Wrap the splines on each end of the mainshaft with tape to prevent damage to the O-ring seals as they are installed.
2. Install 3 NEW square cut mainshaft fluid passage seals (602) on the mainshaft assembly.
3. Install 3 4th , 5th and reverse clutch housing fluid passage O-ring seals (604) on the mainshaft assembly.
4. Remove the tape from the mainshaft.





5. Install the 23 mm x 31 mm x 21.8 mm mainshaft front bearing (601) and the mainshaft front retaining ring (600) on the mainshaft assembly (603).





6. Install the 4th drive gear and clutch hub assembly (607).
7. Install the 4th , 5th and reverse clutch housing assembly (643).
8. Install the 33 mm x 40 mm x 48.7 mm 5th reverse drive gear and clutch hub thrust bearing race (623).
9. Install the 40 mm x 59 mm x 3 mm 5th reverse drive gear and clutch hub thrust bearing (622).
10. Install the 40 mm x 46 mm x 34 mm 5th reverse drive gear and clutch hub inner bearing (621).
11. Install the 5th reverse drive gear and clutch hub assembly (620).
12. Install the 40 mm x 53 mm x 2.5 mm 5th reverse drive gear and clutch hub end bearing (619).
