Removal Procedure
1. Remove the timing belt.
2. Remove the bolts (7).
3. Remove the tensioner (6).
4. Remove the bolt (1), tensioner pulley assembly (2) and bushing (3).
5. Remove the nut (5) and pulley (4).
Installation Procedure
Notice: Do not exceed 9 800 N (2,200 lb) when compressing the rod of the tensioner or component damage may occur.
1. Using a hydraulic press, slowly compress the tensioner.
2. Insert the EN 46330 through the housing and rod.
Notice: Refer to Fastener in Service Precautions.
3. Install the tensioner (252) and bolts (251).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
4. Install the bushing (3), tensioner bracket (2) and bolt (1).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 25 Nm (19 lb ft).
5. Install the pulley (4) and nut (5).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 80 Nm (59 lb ft).
6. Install the timing belt.
