69. 3RD Clutch Shaft Disassemble

3rd Clutch Shaft Disassemble





1. From the 3rd clutch shaft assembly (830) remove the following components:
- 3rd clutch shaft assembly selective washer (809)
- 3rd driven gear, split retaining ring, cap, retainer (808)
- 3rd driven gear, split retaining ring, cap (807)
- 3rd driven gear, split retaining rings (806)
2. Remove the 3rd driven gear (805).
3. Continue to disassemble the 3rd clutch shaft assembly by removing the following components~
- 3rd driven gear, thrust bearing (804)
- 3rd drive gear and clutch hub (803)
- 3rd drive gear and clutch hub, inner bearing (802)
- 3rd drive gear and clutch hub, thrust bearing (801)
- 3rd clutch shaft assembly, 3rd gear clearance, 53 mm splined washer (800)
- 3rd clutch shaft, clutch housing assembly (831)
- 3rd clutch housing, fluid passage, O-ring seals (822)
- 3rd clutch shaft, fluid passage seals (824) from the 3rd clutch shaft (823)
4. Inspect all bearings for wear or damage. Replace as needed.





5. Inspect the following items on the 3rd clutch shaft (823):
- Bearing surfaces for scoring or excessive wear
- Shaft splines for excessive wear or damage
- Sealing rings and shaft lands for excessive wear or damage
6. Replace the 3rd clutch shaft if needed.
