Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear (Disc and AWD)

Removal Procedure
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Remove the tire and wheel.
3. Remove the knuckle.





4. Remove the wheel bearing/hub assembly knuckle bolts (1).





5. Remove the wheel bearing/hub assembly (1) from the knuckle (2).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the wheel bearing/hub assembly (1) on to the knuckle (2).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts (1) into the wheel bearing/hub assembly.
^ Tighten the wheel bearing/hub bolts to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the tire and wheel.
4. Lower the vehicle.
