Instrument Panel (I/P) Harness Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the SIR. Refer toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 andSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
2. Remove the instrument panel. Refer toInstrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Assembly Replacement) .




3. Pull on the wiring harness (2) in order to release the retainers.
4. Remove the wiring harness (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Align the wiring harness retainers.
2. Push in on the wiring harness (2) until the harness is secure.

Important: Ensure that the electrical connectors are routed correctly through the instrument panel.


3. Install the instrument panel. Refer toInstrument Panel (I/P) Assembly Replacement (Instrument Panel (IP) - Assembly Replacement) .
4. Enable the SIR. Refer toSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 andSIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 in SIR.
