Tilt Lever Replacement

Removal Procedure
1. Disable the SIR system.
2. Remove the lower trim cover.
3. Remove the tilt lever spring (2).
4. Remove the retaining bolt (3) from the tilt lever.





5. Remove the tilt lever (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the tilt lever (1).

Notice: Install the retaining bolt (3) to the tilt lever.

2. Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.).
3. Install the tilt lever spring (2).
4. Install the lower trim cover.
5. Enable the SIR system.
