Torque Converter Assembly Removal

^ Tools Required
- DT 46411 6 mm T-Handles





1. Using DT 46411, remove the torque converter assembly (53).
2. Inspect the following:
^ External damage
^ Metal particles found after flushing the oil cooler and lines
^ External leaks in the hub wells area
^ The torque converter pilot is damaged or fits poorly into the crankshaft
^ Internal failure of the stator roller clutch
^ Contamination from engine coolant
^ Excessive end play
