Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Inlet Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement ().




2. Disconnect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)
3. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2) from the thermal bypass valve.




4. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1).
5. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft)




3. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2) to the thermal bypass valve.
4. Connect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)
5. Install the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement ().
