Transmission Fluid Auxiliary Cooler Outlet Pipe Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement ().
2. Disconnect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)
3. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (2) from the thermal bypass valve.
4. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1).
5. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2).
6. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe nut (3)
7. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe bolt (4)
8. Remove the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (5) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (5) to the vehicle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).
2. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe bolt (4) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft)
3. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe nut (3) and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft)
4. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe (2).
5. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler inlet pipe bolt (1)and tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb ft).
6. Install the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe (2) to the thermal bypass valve.
7. Connect the transmission fluid auxiliary cooler outlet pipe quick connect fitting (1) at the thermal bypass valve. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair)
8. Install the drive motor generator power inverter module support. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement ().
