This bulletin is being revised to update the Correction information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 09-08-50-001 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

Condition

Some customers may comment that the driver and/or passenger heated seats are intermittently inoperative. The heated seat(s) may not initially turn on, or may not turn on again after initial warming up.

Cause

Vehicles built from August 2008 to November 2008 with the second generation heated seat may experience intermittent operation.

Correction





Refer to Front Seat Heater Control Module Replacement in SI.

Note
Inspect the heated seat module - replace if the module IS NOT P/N 96816608. This part number can be read from the module. It is advisable to replace the heated seat module for both seats.
