Generator Control Module Coolant Outlet Hose Replacement

J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers
Removal Procedure
1. Drain the generator control module cooling system. Refer to Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling (Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling)
2. Remove the drive motor power inverter module bracket. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement (Generator Control Module Bracket Reinforcement Replacement)
3. Remove the left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Service and Repair)
4. Using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
5. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) from the generator control module.
6. Using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
7. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) from the radiator surge tank air separator.
8. Remove the generator control module coolant outlet hose from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the generator control module coolant outlet hose to the vehicle.
2. Install the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) to the radiator surge tank air separator.
3. Using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
4. Install the generator control module coolant outlet hose (2) to the generator control module.
5. Using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers reposition the generator control module coolant outlet hose clamp (1).
6. Install the left headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (Service and Repair)
7. Install the drive motor power inverter module bracket. Refer to Generator Control Module Bracket Replacement (Generator Control Module Bracket Reinforcement Replacement)
8. Fill the generator control module cooling system. Refer to Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling (Generator Control Module Cooling System Draining and Filling)
