SUBJECT:
Discoloration of Door Seals (Clean Exterior Surfaces with Naptha or Alcohol Prep Cleaning Solvent) 1991 Saturn Vehicles

CONDITION:
Customer may comment about discoloration of secondary seals, outer belt seal strips and rubber on door glass run channel. Rubber portion of these parts may turn brown.

CAUSE:
Condition is caused by bleed-out of catalyst used in processing of rubber.

CORRECTIVE ACTION:
Clean all exterior rubber seals on doors with a Naptha or alcohol prep cleaning solvent. Allow to dry for 30 seconds. After seals have dried, apply a rubber/vinyl sealer protectant such as "Saturn Armor All Protectant" P/N 21070027 (or equivalent), according to the manufacturers recommended instructions.
