Fuel Level Gage Sensor

Use the following specifications to obtain the proper resistance to produce the desired gage reading. Engine off, key on. Dial up the resistance on the potentiometer using a Digital Multimeter on the Ohms setting. Clip the potentiometer across pin B and C on the gage side of the in-line fuel connector located in the rear compartment behind the carpet on the driver side. (The connector should be disconnected.)

Check the resistance through the sensor at the connector pins A and B.

Sensor resistances: 33-37 ohms at Full.
245-257 ohms at Empty.
