CIRCUIT'S 1622, 155RR AND THE DRIVER PASSIVE RESTRAINT LATCH PROXIMITY SWITCH

Function:
This circuit provides an input to the passive restraint control module to indicate if the driver's shoulder belt is buckled.

CIRCUIT 1622

Location:
Connects the passive restraint control module connector cavity C to the driver passive restraint latch proximity switch connector cavity A.
This circuit should be open with the driver's shoulder belt not buckled.

Type:
Dark Greenwhite 22 gage wire

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

CIRCUIT 155RR

Location:
Connects the driver passive restraint latch proximity switch connector cavity B to ground through the right body ground splice pack connector cavity G.

Type:
Black 22 gage wire

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

DRIVER PASSIVE RESTRAINT LATCH PROXIMITY SWITCH

Location:

Located in the driver side lap buckle.

Function:
This switch is OPEN when the belt is not buckled.

Repair:
Verify switch operation.
