Coolant Temperature Gage Sensor
Use the following specification to obtain the proper resistance to produce the desired gage reading. Engine off, key on. Dial up the resistance on the potentiometer using a Digital Multimeter on the ohms setting. Disconnect the wire harness from the coolant temperature indicator sensor (located on the upper front left side of the engine). Clip one lead from the potentiometer to the Dark Green/Yellow wire using a diagnostic probe device. Clip the other lead from the potentiometer to a good engine ground,
Check the resistance through the sensor to ground at the connector pin.
Sensor Resistances: 24°C (75°F) 2200 - 2900 ohms
