Circuit 1618, 1619


CIRCUITs 1618 and 1619

Function:
These circuits provide power and ground for the left passive restraint motor. When the motor moves the mouse to the A pillar, circuit 1618 is the power to the motor and circuit 1619 is the ground. When the mouse moves to the B pillar, 1619 is power and 1618 is ground.

CIRCUIT 1618

Location:
Connects the passive restraint control module connector cavity D to left motor connector cavity B.

Type:
Dark Blue 18 gage wire

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

CIRCUIT 1619

Location:
Connects the passive restraint control module connector cavity A to left motor connector cavity C.

Type:
Light Blue 18 gage wire
