BTSI Shift Lock Override

If the bypass procedure does not allow the shifter to be moved from Park, then system can be manually overridden.

1. Do not attempt manual override with the engine running.

2. Remove ashtray.

3. Place ignition key in accessory position.

4. Apply brakes.

5. Depress plastic release lever located below ashtray.

6. While holding release lever, move shifter to N (neutral) position.
