Fluid Checking Procedure

1. Start engine and operate vehicle for 15 minutes to reach normal operating temperature.

2. With vehicle on level surface, apply parking brake.

3. Move selector through all gear positions.

4. Move gear selector to Park position.

5. Allow engine to idle for three minutes with accessories off.

6. Check fluid level, color and condition, noting the following:

a. Fluid level must be in cross-hatched area of dipstick.

b. If fluid level is below "ADD" mark, add only enough transaxle fluid to bring level to middle of cross-hatched area.
