Circuit 11E

LOCATION:
Connect I/P cluster connection cavity Q to headlamp switch connector cavity E.

TYPE:
Light Green 22 gage wire.

Check the highbeam telltale ground circuit for opens or shorts to ground. With the cluster harness connector installed, observe the telltale. The lamp should be off. If it is on, the circuit is shorted to ground. Turn on the highbeams. The telltale should come on for as long as the switch is in highbeam. If it does not come on, the circuit must be open or the cluster is at fault. If the circuit is grounded and the lamp comes on, then the cluster is OK.

REPAIRS:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS

Repair as needed.
