Without Scan Tool

1 Remove transaxle temperature sensor and install pressure gauge.

2. With engine at idle and transaxle in Park position, line pressure should be 58 - 72 psi.

3. Remove 7.5A line pressure fuse (TRS LP) from underhood junction block, then observe line pressure once again. Pressure should be 218 - 245 psi, although high pressure may be slightly lower if transaxle temperature is in excess of 230°F.

4. Remove pressure gauge equipment and install transaxle temperature sensor.

5. Erase any diagnostic trouble codes stored by transaxle fluid temperature sensor removal. Refer to "Transaxle Electrical System" for procedure.
