Condition and Cause

CONDITION:
Some customers may comment of:

^ Noticeable slowing of vehicle and/or reduced fuel economy

^ Brake pulsation, noise, vibration or roughness during apply

^ Vehicle vibration, roughness or noise

^ Noticeable brake odor when stopped

^ Increased brake pedal travel during apply

^ Increased brake pedal effort during apply

These conditions may be caused by a lack of full brake pedal return and slight brake drag.

The stop lamp switch on some vehicles may be misadjusted preventing full return of the brake pedal arm when the brake pedal is released, resulting in a partial apply of the brake system and slight brake drag.
