CIRCUIT 80/80A

Function:
This is the ground wire for chime module through the key minder switch. The module is grounded when the key is in the ignition, and the key has been turned.

CIRCUIT 80

Location:
Connects I/P junction block connector cavity E1 to Ignition Switch connector cavity B.

Type:
Light Green 22 gage wire

Repairs:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

If this component is good go to the next item indicated on the Symptom Chart.

CIRCUIT 80A

Location:
Connects ignition switch connector cavity B to passive restraint control module (PRCM) connector cavity A (through I/P body inline cavity B).

Type:
Light Green 22 gage wire

Repairs:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
