Circuit 238, 155L and Lapbelt Buckle Switch

CIRCUIT 238

Location:
Connects the passive restraint control module connector cavity D to the lapbelt buckle switch connector cavity A.

Type:
Black 22 gage wire

Function:
This circuit should be OPEN with the driver's lapbelt buckled.

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

CIRCUIT 155LL

Location:
Connects the lapbelt buckle switch connector cavity B to ground through the right body ground splice pack connector cavity G.

Type:
Black 22 gage wire

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

LAPBELT BUCKLE SWITCH

Location:
Located in the lapbelt buckle

Function:
The switch should be OPEN when the lapbelt is buckled.

Repair:
Verify switch operation.

NOTE: The lapbelt buckle switch is on the driver's side only.
