Circuit 25, 25A

LOCATION:
Circuit 25 connects I/P cluster connector cavity D to I/P in line connector cavity B. Circuit 25A connects I/P in line connector cavity B to generator connector connection cavity L.

TYPE:
CKT 25A - Brown 20 gage wire.
CKT 25 - Brown 22 gage wire.

Check the charge telltale ground circuit for opens or shorts to ground. Turn the ignition to run with the cluster connector installed. The charge lamp should light. If the lamp does not light the circuit must he open, the alternator is at fault or the cluster is at fault. Jumper cluster cavity D to W. If the telltale light comes on, then the cluster is OK. If the light comes on and stays lit, the circuit is shorted to ground or the alternator is at fault. If the indicator is not operating properly, refer to generator diagnosis.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

Repair as needed.
