CONDITION:
Some owners may comment about yellow stains or yellow spots on the fenders, fender extensions or rear quarter panels of white vehicles (paint code 40 [WA 9563]). This condition is only possible on the fenders, fender extensions or rear quarter panels of the vehicle. No other exterior polymer panels or steel panels on the vehicle are involved.
IMPORTANT:
This condition may be more prevalent in hot and humid climates.
CAUSE:
This condition may be caused by polymer base material contamination.
CORRECTION:
If a vehicle has this yellow staining or spotting condition on one or more of these polymer panels, and falls within the above VIN range, replace and paint all fenders, fender extensions and rear quarter panels on the vehicle. (Refer to the "Body/Collision Repair Service Manual" for the correct removal and installation procedures for these polymer panels.)
