Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair

SUNROOF MOTOR

REMOVAL

1. Remove headliner as outlined in "Headliner Removal" procedure.





2. Remove connector positive assurance (CPA) device from motor harness wire connector and disconnect harness from motor.






3. Remove three screws and remove sunroof motor, sunroof motor spacers, and guide block.

INSTALLATION






1. Install sunroof motor spacers onto sunroof motor.


2. Slide guide assembly to full rearward position to time cables.

3. Position guide block onto motor aligning it to locator pins on motor housing.

4. Using three screws, install sunroof motor and connect motor harness to motor.


Torque: 3-4 Nm (27-35 in-lbs)


5. Install headliner as outlined in "Headliner Installation" procedure in this section.
