Sunroof / Moonroof Relay: Service and Repair

SUNROOF RELAY BOX/HARNESS

REMOVAL






1. Remove map lamp bezel and map lamp base from roof console assembly.






2. Disconnect sunroof switch in map lamp base from sunroof wiring harness.

3. Remove headliner as outlined in "Headliner Removal" procedure.






4. Disconnect body wiring harness from sunroof harness by removing connector position assurance (CPA) device and disconnecting connector.

5. Disconnect microswitch connector from sunroof harness.

6. Disconnect sunroof motor connector from sunroof harness.

7. Slide relay box rearward to disengage from sunroof module and remove relay box.

INSTALLATION

1. Install relay box onto sunroof module, by inserting relay box into module and sliding it forward.

2. Connect sunroof motor connector to sunroof relay harness.

3. Connect sunroof microswitch connector to sunroof relay harness.

4. Connect body wiring harness to sunroof relay harness and install CPA device.






5. Connect sunroof switch to sunroof switch connector and install map lamp base.

6. Install headliner as outlined in "Headliner Installation" procedure.
