Illumination Lamps


The instrument cluster has three front flood lamps and five rear back-lighting lamps. The power for these cluster illumination lamps is received from the dimmer illumination rheostat allowing the voltage to be varied by the vehicle's operator from zero volts to full battery voltage.

DIMMER ILLUMINATION LAMP
The dimmer illumination lamp, illuminates the dimmer rheostat located to the right side of the instrument cluster. The dimmer rheostat controls the voltage to its own illumination lamp, the instrument cluster lamps, and rear defog switch lamp. Voltage to the lamps is varied by the vehicle's operator from zero to full battery voltage.

REAR DEFOG SWITCH ILLUMINATION LAMP
The rear defog illumination lamp is used to illuminate the rear defog switch. The power for this illumination lamp is received from the dimmer illumination rheostat allowing the voltage to be varied by the vehicle's operator from zero volts to full battery voltage.
