CIRCUIT 80A/80B and IGNITION SWITCH KEY MINDER SWITCH

Location:
Connects passive restraint control module connector cavity A to ignition switch key minder connector cavity B.

Type:
Light Green 22 gage wire

Function:
This circuit grounds the passive restraint control module through the ignition switch key minder switch. The circuit should be OPEN with the key removed from the ignition switch.

Check for OPENS/SHORTS.

IGNITION SWITCH KEY MINDER SWITCH

Function:
Switch should be OPEN with the key removed from the ignition switch.

Repair:
Check for OPENS/SHORTS.
